Would you like to know a little more about the classes in the DTS?
The Place
The classes are taught in a large room where we also meet for other events, including to eat. During class we sit at long tables arranged in a U-shape, facing the person teaching in front.

Our classroom
It is a family atmosphere, a place where you can feel free to ask questions of the teacher and where you can interact to ask them for clarification along the way.

Service Times
One of the values of YWAM is serving. Therefore everyone that is part of YWAM, whether student or staff, spends part of their day in serving. This could be part of a daily activity such as cleaning, or something short term like construction or repairs. Usually your activity will change on a weekly basis.

The Teachers
Above all, the people that will be teaching you are people that love God and want to see each and every student grow in their relationship and understanding of Him. Whether they are a local pastor from here, a teacher from another YWAM base in Argentina, one of us, or someone from another part of the world, their focus is helping you to grow.

Jorge Rios, the director of our base, teaching
During each school we invite people from outside YWAM to teach different topics. These people who come from various parts of the world offer different points of view and methods of teaching that gives variety to each class.

Students caught up in the teaching
For example, we have had people come from the U.S.A., Europe, and Asia to teach. They normally teach in English and are translated to Spanish by one of our translators. Local teachers are translated from Spanish to English. Each message is faithfully translated in such a way as to maintain its integrity. You will enjoy being able to communicate with people of other languages whom you would not otherwise be able to understand and to be able to learn so much from them.

The Students
There is one certain truth, which is that there is no school that is the same. Each school brings people from different parts of the world and Latin America. These people, students that have come to this school give it its own distinct character. As such, we cannot really tell you what it will be like with your school, nor how the students will be. We can tell you however that each person that comes for their school has a desire to know God more.

But the only way that you will really know what it is like is if you come.
So why not come? We are waiting for you.
