Pastors’ Council

In mid-2011 our base director Jorge Rios was elected president of the Pastors’ Council here in Puerto Madryn.  He has since been making great efforts to restore this group to it’s full potential, making personal visits to each pastor, having monthly times of fellowship to worship together and pray for one another as pastors, and projecting towards the future planning various events together as one church.

Madryn's church made the front page!!

On September 24th the first event as one church occurred.  The Bible Marathon brought out several pastors for a time to read God’s Word, to celebrate it, and to make it known publically by speaking to the people as they went by.

On November 26th the Council will be getting together to fast and pray for what God wants to plan in 2012.  It is a great opportunity to make His Kingdom come here in this city of many churches, because when we’re united we can accomplish so much more!!

From the beginning of our time here in Puerto Madryn, we have been involved in supporting and collaborating with the local churches. Together we create projects to help expand the Kingdom of God both in the city and in other areas.

Jorge and Isa, our base directors, are very involved in supporting and discipling many of the church leaders, while other YWAM staff offer teachings, short courses, seminars, workshops, and conferences for the churches in the region.

Our desire is to continue developing these strong links with the pastors and their churches, and that our unity as a body of believers would be a good testimony to all; both inside and outside of the church.
